In the 2026 Gartner report, Ataccama has been positioned as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Augmented Data Quality solutions, and furthest in Completeness of Vision. It is a reflection of their investment into innovating the platform, in the direction that the data quality market is moving.  

Gartner defines augmented data quality (ADQ) solutions as “a set of capabilities that deliver advanced features to streamline the identification of quality issues, offer context-aware suggestions for corrective actions, and automate key data-quality processes to ensure cleaner, more reliable data. These purpose-built data-quality solutions support profiling and monitoring, rule discovery and creation, active metadata use, data transformation, data remediation, matching, linking and merging, and role-based usability. The solutions have AI-assistant-enabled features that enhance user experience”.

Every year, Forrester evaluates data quality solutions vendors and scores them. Jayesh Chaurasia, Senior Analyst at Forrester, writes, “In the age of AI, data quality has become one of the most critical capabilities to promote trust in data and AI for modern enterprises. As organisations scale generative AI and agentic AI, data quality solutions now sit at the forefront of enterprise success in the AI adoption race”. 

In Forrester’s report on what they call “the 10 vendors that matter most”, Informatica, Ataccama and Qlik were ranked as Leaders under Data Quality Solutions for Q1 2026. 

As part of its evaluation, Forrester ranks current features and platform strategy factors to come up with a score. The factors include:

• Innovation and roadmap 

• Support services and offerings 

It recommends that “Ataccama is ideal for enterprises that want to accelerate their AI readiness and are seeking a cloud-first, AI-driven data quality platform with strong automation and observability”. It also notes that Ataccama’s point of differentiation is its cloud-first architecture and AI-driven automation.
