The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) represents more than 40,000 members. Its mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Australia by supporting GPs, general practice registrars and medical students.

Their finance team was using a legacy budgeting tool that was not well designed, causing complexities for finance and making it difficult for the wider business to adopt. They also had external and disconnected Excel spreadsheet files that were used to supplement the budgeting tool.

QMetrix worked with RACGP to leverage a leading cloud-based budgeting and planning solution, Workday Adaptive Planning, to achieve their goals including:
  • All-in-one financial planning tool
  • Accurate budgeting based on drivers
  • User-friendly tool for both finance and business users
  • Finance being seen as strategic business partners
After deployment, Robert Stanley, Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at RACGP confirmed, “It is a central solution for all financial planning, easy to use, and has driven greater business collaboration and ownership of the budget. Workday Adaptive Planning is just what we needed.”
